Methodology

our methodology

Experience shows that having a standard project methodology can make the difference between success and failure. Whether we are talking about a four-week web site build for a new business, or an 18-month CCM software procurement cycle for a large enterprise, the underlying principles are the same. At Meta-Nexus we have built our own methodology based on years of experience with clients large and small, and we apply the following six principles to every project we undertake.

BUSINESS VALUE

Meta-Nexus exists to help your business succeed. It’s as simple as that. We will never talk you into consulting services you don’t need, or technology that doesn’t make sense for your business. We want you to look back on our project and say “that was a really good investment”.

SATISFACTION

We don’t just want you to be happy with our work – we want you to be so happy that you will come back for more, and refer us to your friends and business colleagues. We go above and beyond to ensure that your opinion of Meta-Nexus will be uniformly positive.

CLARITY

At all moments of the project, we ensure that you have 100% visibility of the timeframe and cost of the work you have engaged us to do. We dislike unexpected costs and delays as much as you do, and will go to great lengths to avoid them.

STAGED DELIVERY

Whenever possible, we structure our projects in multiple delivery segments, which enables you to measure progress easily and gauge our expertise as work proceeds. This also protects our respective business interests by limiting financial exposure on both sides.

COMMUNICATION

Communication is a huge factor in the success of a project — and lack of communication can be all it takes for a project to fail. Our project schedules include regular checkpoint meetings, and we encourage you to tell us immediately if you are unhappy about any aspect of our service.

BLUEPRINT

You wouldn’t dream of building a house without first drawing up a blueprint… would you? At Meta-Nexus we believe that good planning is the key to a successful project — and a satisfied customer. The first step in our projects is always to draw up a blueprint, with clearly identified deliverables, and measurable milestones along the way.
